Soo, let’s talk about the giant elephant in the room, the L-Word, yup, leggings! Lately there has been a lot of bad press saying that LuLaRoe leggings are so defective that they “rip like wet tissue paper”, there has also been various lawsuits concerning holes in the leggings.
LuLaRoe has always stated that they stand behind their product, and today they proved that by launching the LuLaRoe Happiness Policy!
What is the LuLaRoe Happiness Policy?
First and foremost it means that LuLaRoe truly cares about it’s customers, it wants those brightly colored donut leggings to bring a smile to your face every time you wear them, not cause you anxiety and stress you out wondering if you are going to get a giant hole while you walk around the grocery store. So what is the policy? Here it is:
- If at any time during the 30 days you are not completely satisfied or happy with your purchase, please contact the Independent Fashion Retailer who sold you the product and provide your original purchase receipt to receive a full refund, credit, or exchange (Due to the limited and exclusive nature of LuLaRoe’s prints, colors, art and graphics, we cannot guarantee you will receive the same print, color, art or graphics in exchange.)
- If at any time in the first 90 days you are not completely satisfied or happy with your purchase, please contact any Independent Fashion Retailer and provide your original purchase receipt to receive a credit or exchange.
- Our policy applies to all unaltered LuLaRoe products sold to retail consumers in the United States by an authorized LuLaRoe Independent Fashion Retailer and excludes non-apparel and promotional items not sold at retail.
- If your product has a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, you may be entitled to a return under our limited warranty. Please see our limited warranty for details.
Limited Warranty
There is also a limited warranty for all of our beautiful clothes that is separate from the Happiness Policy, that reads as follows:
LuLaRoe warrants to the original purchaser that any original, unaltered, and unmodified product will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six months from the date of purchase, when sold in the United States by an authorized LuLaRoe Independent Fashion Retailer. This limited warranty does not include non-apparel and promotional items, and does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, and the natural breakdown of colors and materials that occur by extended use. This limited warranty is separate from LuLaRoe’s Happiness Policy, which applies during the first 90 days from the date of your purchase. Before making a request under this limited warranty, you should determine whether your purchase is covered by LuLaRoe’s Happiness Policy.
Whew, have your eyes glazed over yet, I understand all the fine print is not fun, I am a Paralegal during the day and have to read all kinds of boring documents, so I get it, but all of this is really, really good news, basically if you don’t like something, LuLaRoe and I will fix it for you!
